‘300 units of free electricity, 500 units of cylinder and free ration kit, 3 new guarantees of Congress for Delhi.

Congress said that if it comes to power in Delhi, it will provide LPG cylinder worth Rs 500, free ration kit and up to 300 units of free electricity to the city residents. The announcement was made by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who was addressing a press conference here along with AICC Delhi in-charge Qazi Nizamuddin and Delhi Congress chief Devendra Yadav. Revanth Reddy said that we have tried to fulfill all the promises that Congress had made to the people during the elections in Telangana. Similarly, we will fulfill the promises we have made to the people of Delhi.

On January 6, Congress announced its ‘Pyaari Didi Scheme’, promising to provide a monthly monetary grant of Rs 2,500 to women if voted to power. On January 8, the party announced its ‘Jeevan Raksha Yojana’, under which it promised free health insurance of up to Rs 25 lakh. The party on Sunday also promised to give Rs 8,500 every month for a year to educated unemployed youth in Delhi. Voting for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will take place on February 5 and counting of votes will take place on February 8.

Congress on Wednesday announced five more candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections. The party has so far declared a total of 68 candidates for the 70-member assembly elections. Earlier, a total of 63 candidates were declared in four different lists. A total of five names are included in this fifth list of Congress candidates. The party has nominated Surendra Kumar from Bawana, Somesh Gupta from Rohini, Rahul Dhanak from Karol Bagh, Virendra Bidhuri from Tughlakabad and Arjun Bhadana from Badarpur. Congress had released the fourth list of 15 candidates on Tuesday.
