Four people, including a couple and two children, died in a road accident in Fatehabad police station area on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. The police gave this information on Monday.
Police said the deceased have been identified as Omprakash (42), his wife Purnima Singh (34), daughter Ahana (12) and son Vinayak (four). He told that Omprakash was returning after bathing with his wife and two children on Sunday night, when his car crashed on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Fatehabad area at around 12.30 pm.
Police said the car became uncontrollable and broke the divider and collided with the DCM canter standing on the other side. He told that Omprakash and three other people of his family died on the spot in this accident.
Fatehabad Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) Amardeep said that the bodies have been sent for postmortem. He said that prima facie it seems that the car became uncontrollable due to a nap. The case is being investigated.
