PM Narendra Modi addressed Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave 2025. Narendra Modi said that I consider Eastern India as the growth engine of the country and Odisha has a big role in it. History is witness, when India had a major stake in global growth, Eastern India was an important role. He said that in eastern India there were big industrial hubs, big ports, trade hubs. Odisha used to be a major center for trade to be held in South East A Shia. The ancient ports here used to be a gateway of India.
Modi said that today India is running on such a path of development, which is running the aspirations of crores of people. Not only Artificial Intelligence, but the aspiration of India is our strength. He said that I believe, Odisha will soon reach the height of development where no one has imagined to reach. I am glad that the entire team of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi ji is engaged in giving speed to the development of Odisha.
The Prime Minister said that Odisha is extraordinary. Odisha is a symbol of optimism and originality of new India. Odisha also has optimism and originality and people here have always shown passion to outperform. He said that today India’s focus is-Wed in India. Today is the mantra of India- Heal in India. Nature of Odisha, the natural beauty here is very helpful for this. He said that Odisha has a major role in building developed India. Odisha dwellers have resolved to build ‘rich Odisha’. For the accomplishment of this resolution, all possible support is being received from the Central Government.
Narendra Modi said that I consider Eastern India as the development engine of the country. ASEAN countries have shown interest in strengthening business relations with Odisha. He said that the eastern part of the country has contributed significantly to India’s major share in global trade. He said that the aspirations of crores of people are advancing India on the path of development, AI is “aspiration of India”. Odisha symbolizes the optimism and originality of new India. He said that the export of raw materials and imports of finished products cannot be accepted, there should be value enhancement here.
