10 crore people will take Ganga bath on Mauni Amavasya
In the last 17 days in Mahakumbh 2025, more than 150 million people have taken a bath in the Ganges and Sangam and on Wednesday, there is a possibility of bathing in the Ganges on Mauni Amavasya and 10 crore people. The Uttar Pradesh government said on Tuesday that the administration has made complete preparations for Mauni Amavasya. In view of the huge crowd on Mauni Amavasya, security measures have been taken on the rumor of the fair area and people’s activities are being monitored with CCTV cameras and drones containing AI.
On the occasion of Mauni Amavasya, the state government has planned to shower flowers on the devotees at quarter to seven in the morning on Wednesday.
