Congress leader Rahul Gandhi campaigned for Sandeep Dixit on Tuesday, who is competing with AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi constituency in the 5 February assembly elections. He also interacted with the employees of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), who told him that thousands of people have become unemployed due to the policies of the BJP -led Center and Delhi AAP government.
Regarding this, Rahul wrote on X that today he visited the Maharishi Valmiki temple in Delhi. After visiting, met NDMC employees in a nearby colony. He said that thousands of people are unemployed due to the BJP’s central government and AAP’s personalization and contract job policy and thousands are not getting proper salary. He said that we are constantly raising this issue – Protection and contract jobs are weapons to snatch the rights of the poor and Bahujans. We will first control them.
