America: White House withdrew memorandum to ban federal expenses

US President Donald Trump’s budget office on Wednesday withdrew the memorandum prohibiting federal loan and grant expenses. Due to this memorandum, confusion situations arose across the country within two days.

The memorandum released by the Management and Budget Office on Monday worried the provinces, schools and organizations that depend on the trillion dollars from Washington.

Administration officials said that the decision to stop the loan and grant was necessary to ensure that the expenses were in line with Trump’s recent executive orders, including issues such as climate change and diversity, equality and inclusion programs. But on Wednesday, he canceled the original memorandum and sent a notice of two sentences.

Administrative officials said that despite the confusion, the memorandum has had the expected effect, as it makes it clear that the federal agencies have the responsibility of following the executive orders of the Trump.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Lewitt said, “The executive orders issued by the President regarding the funding review will be fully implemented and all agencies and departments will have to follow them strictly.” Rather blamed courts and news institutions.
