Following the order of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), telecom companies Jio, Airtel and VI have cheaper their voice and SMS plans. Companies converted their old data plans into voice and SMS plans. Data Benefits were removed in it. After TRAI intervention, these companies have reduced their prices. Its customers are getting better services at a lower price.
Following the order of TRAI, Jio, Airtel and VI have made significant cuts in the prices of their voice and SMS plans. These changes prove that customers can now get more benefits at a lower price. JIO has made its Rs 1,958 plan cheaper by Rs 210 while Airtel and VI have also reduced their prices. With this, customers can now avail these telecom services at more affordable rates than before.

Airtel reduced so much prices
Airtel first launched voice and SMS plans worth Rs 499 and Rs 1,959. Now their prices have also decreased by 50 to 110 rupees.
Plan of Rs 499: In this plan, unlimited calling and 900 SMS were available for 84 days. Now its price has been increased to Rs 469.
Plan of Rs 1,959: In this plan, unlimited calling and 3,600 SMS were available in this plan with a validity of 365 days, now its price has been Rs 1,849.
Thus, Airtel has given a better and affordable option to its customers by reducing the prices of both its major plans.
Jio had earlier launched 2 major voice and SMS plans worth Rs 458 and Rs 1,958. These plans had unlimited calling, SMS and long validity facilities.
Plan of Rs 458: In this plan, there was unlimited calling, 1,000 SMS and 84 days validity. In the plan of Rs 1,958, unlimited calling and 3,600 SMS were provided with one year (365 days) validity. Jio has cut their prices after TRAI demanded a review of these plans. Now the plan of Rs 458 is available for Rs 448 while the plan of Rs 1,958 is now available for only Rs 1,748. This means that Jio has cut the price of its Rs 1,958 plan by Rs 210.
VI also launched two new plans
VI has also changed its old single plan and now introduced two new plans. Under the same plan, VI was offering unlimited calling and 3,600 SMS with a validity of 365 days for Rs 1,849. Now two new plans have been introduced by replacing it.
– In the plan of Rs 1,849, unlimited calling and 3,600 SMS are available with a validity of 365 days, which are the same as before.
In the plan of Rs 470, unlimited calling and 900 SMS are available with 84 days validity. VI has given more options to its customers with this new change, of which they can choose according to their needs.
