Haryana Minister Anil Vij expressed his displeasure on Thursday that the officials did not follow his orders, saying that he is ready to go on a fast unto death like farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallawal for the people of his Ambala Cantt constituency.
A senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who was a seven -time MLA from Ambala Cantt, told reporters here that he has stopped setting up Janata Darbar in Ambala. Anil Vij (71) used to hold the Janata Durbar every Monday.
Vij said, “I will not be able to attend the meetings of the Grievance Redressal Committee as the officials are not following my orders.” Transport and Energy Minister Vij said, “The rest of Haryana is not taking anything. .., But the people of Ambala Cantt have elected me to be an MLA seven times. If I have to agitate for his work, I will do it and if I (farmer leader Jagjit) like Dallawal, I will do a fast unto death, I will do it. “
This is not the first time Vij has expressed his displeasure with the officials. He also expressed disappointment over the “absence” of some senior officials in a meeting convened in Ambala in October.
