In Philadelphia, US, an aircraft crashed in a densely populated area 30 seconds after flying on Friday, causing several houses.
It was an ‘air ambulance’ with an infant patient and five other people. The aircraft accident occurred at a busy intersection near the Roosevelt Mall, less than 4.8 km from the Northeast Philadelphia Airport.
The ‘LearJet 55’ aircraft flew from the airport at six o’clock in the evening and lost contact with the radar after reaching a height of 1,600 feet. According to the aircraft website ‘Flight Aware’, it left for Springfield, the city of Missouri.
Mayor Cherael Parker said that immediate information about casualties has not been found but many houses and vehicles have been damaged. He said, “It is being investigated right now.”
Governor Josh Shapiro said that “necessary resources are being provided for rescue operations after the plane crash in Northeast Philadelphia.” Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said that ‘National Transport Safety Board’ (NTSB) its Will investigate. NTSB said that he is collecting information about the accident.
