Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ravi Shankar Prasad participated in the discussion supporting the President’s address by BJP MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri in the Lok Sabha. Ravi Shankar Prasad criticized President Draupadi Murmu’s remarks of Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi, saying that insulting the supreme constitutional post is in the Congress tradition and his ‘political DNA’.

The BJP leader said that the President holds the highest constitutional post and is part of Parliament. It is our moral responsibility to respect them. The President went ahead with a very simple family. In the last two years, she is giving a new height to the post of President with dignity and decency. According to him, perhaps a statement has been denied by issuing a release from Rashtrapati Bhavan for the first time. Citing Sonia Gandhi’s remarks, Prasad said, “I want to condemn the comment.” He said that the information of what was treated with the first President Rajendra Prasad is inscribed in the documents. According to Prasad, everyone knows what was treated with the former President like Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed and Giani Zail Singh.
Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel died in 1950 but was given Bharat Ratna in 1991. All 550 princely states except one were managed by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. On the stampede at Mahakumbh, Prasad said that the incident is under investigation. We smell conspiracy by investigation.
