This assembly constituency has been under the control of Aam Aadmi Party since the 2013 elections.
Regarding the assembly elections going to be held in the country’s capital Delhi next month, Prabhasakshi’s team is visiting different assembly constituencies of the capital and trying to know their condition. Regarding which our team reached Ambedkar Nagar assembly constituency of South Delhi and saw the ground situation there and also talked to the people and discussed the elections.
Our team saw filth all around on the roads in Madanpur of Ambedkar Nagar assembly constituency. The entire market of Madanpur is arranged in a disorganized manner and people set up their street vendors everywhere. This assembly constituency has been under the control of Aam Aadmi Party since the 2013 elections, whose leader Ajay Dutt is currently the MLA from here. During the conversation, voters told that no development work has been done in Ambedkar Nagar Assembly and the present MLA is not at all conscious about the cleanliness of the area.
Many people of the area said that the problem of water logging in Delhi has become the worst, that is why the people of the capital now want change. Many voters of the area said that Delhi will not be developed by just distributing ₹2100 but the government can do good to the people only by providing basic facilities. He also strongly opposed all the facilities being provided for free by Arvind Kejriwal’s government and said that instead the government should focus more on employment of the people.
According to him, Rs 2100 will not have any significant impact in this election and the women of Delhi will not fall prey to this scam of Aam Aadmi Party. Many people of the area said that due to pollution it has become difficult for people to live in Delhi. At the same time, young voters praised former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and said that there has been very little development in his government. Regarding cleanliness, he said that BJP MPs should also pay attention to this problem. Along with this, people claimed that the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party do some work for the people but the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party always remain missing among the people.
