Four youths, arrested for attacking a lawyer by entering his chamber near the court in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, were sent to jail on Saturday. Bareilly Superintendent of Police (City) Manush Pareek said that on Friday afternoon, five youths entered the chamber of advocate Rajaram Solanki and opened fire on him. However, Solanki narrowly escaped the incident.
According to Pareek, on hearing the sound of the bullet, the rest of the advocates reached the chamber and surrounded four accused, while one accused managed to escape from the spot. Later the police reached the spot and arrested the four accused.
According to the police, Solanki had filed a complaint against Sachin, Dev Thakur, Rohit Kurmi, Mohit and an unknown youth, on the basis of which an FIR has been registered. He told that Sachin, Dev, Rohit and Mohit, who were arrested on Friday, were sent to jail on Saturday.
