Rohtak. The ninth Gramotsav will be organized in village Bhali Anandpur of Rohtak on January 19. A large number of people will participate in this festival organized at Kutiya Ground. In the Mera Gaon Gramotsav organized by Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Seva Samiti, Mahant Swami Rajendra Das of Jatela Dham Tapobhoomi will be present, while the chief guest of the festival will be Haryana’s Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda and the main guest of the festival will be Pratap Singh, Haryana State Sanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Many projects for self-reliance, values and women upliftment in the village will be the main attraction of the village festival.
Satpal, convenor of Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Seva Samiti and Prateek, coordinator of the program told that Gramotsav is being organized in my village for the last 8 years. In this context, the Gramotsav to be held on January 19 is going to be grand in many ways. He told that the festival will start at 10 am on January 19 in which musical and cultural programs will take place. Gagan Haryanvi, Binder Danoda, Ramkesh Jeevanpuriya will entertain people with their performances.
Satpal said that information about government schemes will be given during Gramotsav. Many types of problems ranging from Aadhaar updates will be resolved at the Aadhaar center and information related to cyber security will also be made available to the people. He told that apart from the health check-up camp, artificial limbs and employment fair will be organized for the disabled people in which the youth will be able to register.
The organizer of the committee said that stalls of women’s makeup, food and beverage items and clothes will also be set up in the Gramotsav. The most special thing will be that people will be able to buy earthen pots, daman, chundri, kurta pajama, khadi cloth, home made biscuits made by handicrafts and small scale industries. Apart from Panchgavya based products, stalls of ghee, milk, cheese, chyawanprash, murabba, pickles will also be set up. Battery scooties and tractors will also be the center of attraction. Apart from the cultural art related to the villages, natural farming products, sugarcane kulfi, sugarcane herbal tea, sugarcane tamarind chutney, honey, vegetables, mustard oil, pulses, millet and rice will also be available in the festival.
