Bangladeshi officials are arguing that restrictions are being imposed on non-essential foreign travel at government expense. Therefore we cannot participate in such a programme. Bangladesh is continuously trying to spoil its relations with India. You may find this news strange to hear, but this news is actually true. Bangladesh is now completely following the path of Pakistan. First he refused to come to the judges’ conference to be held in India. Now after this, Bangladeshi officials have refused to participate in the celebrations related to the 150th anniversary of India’s Meteorological Department. The argument behind this is that Bangladeshi officials are imposing restrictions on non-essential foreign travel at government expense. Therefore we cannot participate in such a programme. He stressed on regular contacts between the meteorological departments of the two countries and mentioned his recent visit to India on 20 December 2024 for a separate meeting with Indian meteorologists. Apparently, ever since the rise of extremists in Bangladesh, they have been continuously insisting on spoiling their relations with India. On the other hand, they are seeing Pakistan as their brother. To that Pakistan which had passed the test of committing atrocities in Bangladesh. Now Bangladesh has started considering Pakistan as its brother and its friend. He is continuously not giving importance to his relations with India.
Pakistan-Taliban will come
IMD has invited many neighboring countries including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives and countries of Central Asia and South East Asia for this event. Pakistan has already agreed to participate in the event. The Indian Meteorological Department was established in 1875 during the British rule. The department will celebrate its 150th anniversary on 15 January 2025.
