Amidst growing speculations about yet another political change regarding Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his party, JD(U) ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar, RJD MP and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter Misa Bharti has made a statement which will reveal the future of the state. In his reply, the RJD leader ruled out any possible political turmoil in the coming days. When asked about the ongoing discussion about major changes in the political scenario of the state, she said, “I keep saying that nothing is impossible in politics. It is too early to comment on this… Kharmas (an inauspicious period before Makar Sankranti) will end after today. All auspicious programs including politics can take place after today.
Notably, last year, Nitish Kumar had formally broken his alliance with the RJD by resigning from the post of CM and took oath for another term at the helm of the state government in alliance with the BJP. On January 4 this year, Nitish criticized the situation at the time when Lalu ruled Bihar as CM, saying, “The condition of Bihar was quite bad.”
