Mayawati was born on 15 January 1956 in Badalpur village of Gautam Buddha Nagar. His father’s name was Prabhudas, who was a government employee. Mayawati’s childhood name was Chandravati. He was very fond of reading and writing since childhood. After initial studies, Mayawati reached Delhi for further studies. Here in the year 1975, he studied LLB from Kalindi College, Delhi. Then obtained B.Ed degree from Ghaziabad. After this, Mayawati also worked as a teacher for some time.
entry into politics
Mayawati, who dreamed of administrative service, started her career as a teacher. But later she came into politics. Mayawati was influenced by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar from the beginning.
