Congress workers led by Udit Raj on Monday protested near the residence of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal against the non-promise of paying salaries to Buddhist monks and priests of Guru Ravidas and Lord Valmiki temples, but were detained by the police. Took. Congress leader Devendra Yadav said that we have been repeating that Kejriwal ji is against Dalits. In 2013, it was the same Kejriwal ji who had said that MCD employees would be made permanent. But not a single employee was made permanent.

Today we are seeing many such incidents which show that they are anti-Dalit. Meanwhile, Udit Raj claimed that a protest was scheduled at Jantar Mantar but the police did not allow the gathering. Subsequently, they decided to protest near Kejriwal’s residence on Ferozshah Road but were taken into custody.
Buddhist monks and priests of Valmiki and Ravidas temples joined the protest. The protesters were demanding that they be included under the party’s proposed scheme to provide a monthly salary of Rs 18,000 for Hindu priests and Sikh ‘granthi’. Raj and other protesters were later released from custody. Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav met the protesters at the police station.
