Share Market: The stock market has returned, Sensex closed with a gain of 759 points, Nifty also rose.

Share Market Update : Amid the mixed trend of global markets, there was a good rise in the market on Friday due to buying in the shares of selected big companies at the domestic level and Sensex closed with a rise of 759 points and Nifty by 217 points. According to analysts, buying at lower levels in Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries created a bullish atmosphere in the market.

BSE’s 30-share index Sensex jumped 759.05 points or 0.96 percent to close at 79,802.79. At one time during trading it had increased by 880.16 points to reach 79,923.90.

National Stock Exchange (NSE) index Nifty also closed at 24,131.10, up 216.95 points or 0.91 percent. In this way the markets were successful in recovering from the big fall in the last session. On Thursday, Sensex fell 1,190.34 points to 79,043.74 and Nifty fell 360.75 points to close at 23,914.15.

Among Sensex group companies, Bharti Airtel, Mahindra & Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, Adani Ports, Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, JSW Steel, Hindustan Unilever, Titan and Tata Motors were the biggest gainers.

On the other hand, shares of Power Grid, Nestle, State Bank of India (SBI) and Infosys closed with a decline. The rise in shares of most of the Adani Group companies also played a role in the market rise. A rise of 21.72 percent was recorded in Adani Green Energy and 15.56 percent in Adani Energy Solutions.

The BSE Smallcap index representing small companies rose 0.76 percent and the Midcap index representing medium companies rose 0.31 percent. In other markets of Asia, China’s Shanghai Composite and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng closed with gains, while South Korea’s Kospi and Japan’s Nikkei closed with losses.

Most of the markets in Europe recorded a decline. American markets remained closed on Thursday on the festival of ‘Thanksgiving’. Meanwhile, international oil standard Brent crude fell 0.30 percent to $ 73.06 per barrel.

According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) had made a net sale of shares worth Rs 11,756.25 crore on Thursday. (input language)
