Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh on Thursday warned social media page operators who had uploaded posts that violate the law and personal space of writers. Singh also said that since the caste crisis started in the northeastern state in May 2023, a large number of new organizations have emerged and many of them are involved in anti-social activities. People involved in looting or setting fire to the residences of elected representatives have been arrested. Some of them are now in jail while some may be charged under NSA. Their life will become difficult, as their records will be with the police and people with FIRs will not be able to enter government services.
