A case has been registered against five people, including two people of Indian origin, for allegedly robbing the gun in a businessman’s house in the US.
Bhupinderjit Singh (26), Divya Kumari (26), Eliza Roman (22), Corey Hall (45) and Eric Suarez (24) allegedly committed robbery by entering a house in Orange County, New York.
A statement issued this week by the Attorney Office in the southern district of New York said that the accused have been arrested and they have been produced before the United States Magistrate Judge Victoria Ray Public in the White Plans Federal Court.
A case of robbery conspiracy on them and a case of robbery was also registered. There is a provision for a maximum of 20 years jail sentence for both. Singh, Roman, Hall and Suarez have been additional allegations of using weapons to promote the crime of violence.
Acting American Attorney Edward Kim from the southern district of New York said that the five allegedly conspired and carried out the robbery, during which four children saw that their parents were tied with a rope showing a gun, while Four people were searching for their house in search of cash and valuables.
