According to the police, seriously injured Dr. Ajit Rai (40) is being treated in a hospital in Varanasi. According to the police, Dr. Swarnkar, posted at Ballia District Hospital, was on educational leave and at the time of the accident he was coming to Ballia from Lucknow with Dr. Ajit Rai. Police Area Officer (CO) Mohammad Faheem Qureshi said that the police has sent the body to the district hospital for post-mortem.
