Delhi Police stopped the screening of a documentary on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal. AAP claimed that the screening was affected on Saturday due to police not granting permission. The screening was likely to take place at Pyarelal Bhawan around 12:00 noon. The documentary is about how Kejriwal’s party was functioning after he went to jail and what happened after he came out of jail. Arvind Kejriwal said in a post on X that a film has been made on Aam Aadmi Party. Today, where this film was to be shown to the journalists, see how the BJP stopped the film from being shown by deploying a large number of police. BJP is badly scared of this film.

Since the elections have been declared, political parties have to apply for permission through a single window system in the DEO office (ie DM office). This is a standard procedure during elections. No such permission was taken for the said event and hence it would be a violation of the guidelines. We urge all parties to follow election rules and regulations at this time.
