The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi pilgrimage area appealed to the devotees who are willing to worship at the Ram temple on Tuesday and are coming from the areas around Ayodhya. The trust appealed to the people around and said that they should postpone their journey by February due to the huge influx of devotees coming from far-flung places. Saying that the number of devotees who have come to worship in the last three days have seen an unprecedented increase, the trust said that it is becoming difficult for every devotee to ensure the darshan of Ram Lala in a single day.
The trust wrote on X that ‘Main Snan’ (main bathing ritual) for Mauni Amavasya in Kumbh in Prayagraj will take place on 29 January 2025. It is estimated that on this auspicious day, about 10 crore devotees will take a holy dip in Prayagraj. A large number of devotees are traveling from Prayagraj to Ayodhya by train and road. It states that due to the huge crowd of devotees, people have suffered inconvenience because devotees have to travel long distances.
The trust said that we politely request the devotees of the surrounding areas to plan their journey to Ayodhya after 15-20 days, so that people from far and wide can get easy experience of philosophy in the present. This will ensure convenience to all. There will be a lot of relief after Vasant Panchami and the weather will also be pleasant in February. This would be the best if devotees from the surrounding areas plan their journey during that time. We request you to consider this appeal.
