On Monday afternoon, 10 vehicles were gutted and 20 partially damaged due to fire in an electric vehicle showroom in Rajajinagar area of Bangalore city. Firefighters gave information.
He said that two fire engines were sent to the spot as soon as the fire department was received at 2.06 pm. According to the department, the fire broke out in the showroom basement and ground floor where two -wheeler electric vehicles were kept. 10 vehicles were completely burnt in the fire while 20 other vehicles were partially burnt.
However, it did not spread to the two upper floors of the showroom due to overcating the fire, including the office space. Initial investigation has revealed that a total of five people were present inside the showroom at the time of the fire.
During the exit process, a person was admitted to a hospital after injury to an electric wire. A senior fire officer told. He said that the fire has been controlled and the exact cause of the fire is not yet known.
