Kishore will also start the next phase of his ‘Satyagraha’ movement. Before breaking his fast, Kishore took a symbolic dip in the holy river Ganga near Ganga Path in Patna, marking a significant moment in his protest.

Jan Suraj Party chief Prashant Kishore ended his hunger strike on Thursday after 14 days. Kishore was on a ‘fast unto death’ since January 2 to protest against alleged irregularities in the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination held last month. Kishore will also start the next phase of his ‘Satyagraha’ movement. Before breaking his fast, Kishore took a symbolic dip in the holy river Ganga near Ganga Path in Patna, marking a significant moment in his protest.

Kishore said that this is not a rally or protest. For the last 14 days, on behalf of the Jan Suraj family, I have been trying to ensure that the students get justice. Prashant Kishore did not start this fight; This struggle was started by students from Bihar who believe that there were large-scale irregularities in the BPSC examination. Kishore said that he would start Satyagraha by setting up a new platform named Bihar Satyagraha Ashram. The space will serve as a voice for all oppressed people, he said, providing a space for those who suffer injustice by the system to come and speak without fear. He stressed that all activities at the ashram will follow necessary legal procedures and permissions.

Kishor also shared plans to train one lakh youth in the next eight weeks at the ashram. It aims to inspire them to move society beyond caste and religious divisions and focus on creating a better future for their children. He assured officials that there would be no rallies or protests, alleviating any concerns about the administration’s response to the initiative. Earlier, Kishore had claimed that Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan has assured to take steps to find a solution to the BPSC exam dispute.
