Superintendent of Police (City) Kumar Ranvijay Singh said on Monday that Civil Lines police station received information in the morning that the body of a B.Sc Nursing student studying in Moradabad was found hanging in a rented room.
The body of a 21-year-old B.Sc.-Nursing student from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh was found hanging in a house in Kesari Kunj Colony of Civil Lines police station area of Moradabad district on Monday.
Police said that no suicide note was found on the spot. Police have started investigation by taking possession of the mobile phone found at the spot. The deceased has been identified as Jyoti Singh (21), resident of Babhni village of Deoria district. Police said that the body has been handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.

Police reached the spot along with the forensic team and inspected the spot. The police immediately informed the family members of the student, resident of Deoria district. After investigation by the forensic team, the police took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
