Agency, Mumbai. Team India will be announced today for the Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan and Dubai. The selectors’ meeting will be held in Mumbai under the chairmanship of Ajit Agarkar. During this time, head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Rohit Sharma will also be present.
The biggest question is whether Jasprit Bumrah is completely fit and whether he will get a place in the team or not. It is believed that Bumrah will definitely get a place in the team, but whether he will be able to play or not will depend on his fitness just before the match.

Conflict over selection of 8-10 players… What will be Shami’s return?
- There are at least 8 to 10 players whose selection may make Agarkar, Gambhir and Rohit have to wrestle with each other. India’s 2024-25 Test season has started on a poor note.

- Meanwhile, all eyes will be on Mohammed Shami. The fast bowler has not played a single match for India since the ODI World Cup in 2023. Shami is expected to play in the Champions Trophy.

Let us tell you, the Indian government did not allow its team to go to Pakistan to play the Champions Trophy. After this the ICC decided that this tournament will be played in hybrid model.
India’s matches will be held in Dubai. If India reaches the final, the final will also be held in Dubai. A total of 8 teams (Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa and host Pakistan) are participating in the tournament.
