Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Friday that he is “very sad” from an incident in an Ordnance Factory in Bhandara, Maharashtra, which feared that eight people are killed. Singh said that rescue teams are stationed at the blast site and all efforts are being made to provide assistance to the affected people.
He posted on the social media forum ‘X’, “It was very sad to know about the explosion in the Ordnance Factory in Bhandara, Maharashtra. My condolences to the bereaved families. I pray for the injured to recover early. ”
He said, “Rescue teams are present at the scene. Every effort is being made to provide assistance to the affected people. ”Maharashtra reports that eight people have been killed in the blast.
The Ministry of Defense has not yet officially given details of the blast. According to police and district officials, the blast occurred in the ‘LTP section’ of the Ordnance Factory in Jawahar Nagar area at around 10:30 in the morning.
