Chennai . Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said Governor RN Ravi is unable to digest the fact that the state is developing and his decision not to address the Assembly is “childish”. He said that after Ravi became the Governor, strange scenes were being seen in the state assembly for the last few years. Stalin said in the Assembly, “The Governor comes to the Assembly, but returns without addressing the House. That’s why I said his actions were childish.”
He said that according to Article 176 of the Constitution, the Governor has to deliver his address to the Assembly at the beginning of the session. Concluding the discussion on the motion of thanks on the Governor’s address, the Chief Minister said, “But it seems that he is willing to violate the rules in a planned manner.” The Chief Minister said that in 2022, the Governor has announced his decision without any change. Gave the address, but in the last three years he has been avoiding giving his address citing “absurd” reasons.
