Amid speculations of internal discord in the India alliance, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Monday said talks among alliance partners are necessary if the India alliance has to be saved and strengthened in the coming days. He said that India alliance should be strong. I do not believe in what Omar Abdullah said that India alliance has been formed for the Lok Sabha. This alliance was definitely formed for the Lok Sabha and we fought the elections well, but after that no meeting of the India Alliance was held, which is unfortunate.

Sanjay Raut said that this responsibility is of Congress because it is in the role of elder brother in the alliance. If the India alliance has to be saved and strengthened in the coming days, then dialogue among the alliance partners is necessary. Raut’s comments come after Communist Party of India general secretary D Raja admitted that the India faction is “divided” after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Speaking to ANI, Raja said, “It is true that the opposition is divided. People know that in Delhi. AAP is fighting the assembly elections on its own, Congress is fighting the elections on its own, Left parties “We are contesting elections wherever we are and among other parties, some parties have announced their support to AAP. So, it is a fact that the India faction is divided.”

Many BJP leaders have also claimed that the India Bloc has ‘no mission’ and is ‘disintegrated’. On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah claimed that the alliance has ‘completely disintegrated’, citing the examples of not fighting Delhi Assembly elections and Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections together. He said that today the India alliance has completely disintegrated. Elections are about to be held in Mumbai and Shiv Sena (UBT) and Congress are preparing to contest the elections alone. Just like you gave us a spectacular victory in Maharashtra, similarly BJP government is going to be formed.
