Sports Desk, Indore. India has suffered a major setback on the second day of the fifth and final Test being played between India and Australia in Sydney. Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been injured, after which he had to leave the field.

Bumrah is in great form in this test series. He was immediately taken to the hospital for a scan of his injury. Actually, Bumrah bowled only one over during Australia’s first innings. Nothing can be said yet about the seriousness of his theft.

Bumrah’s brilliant performance

Bumrah has bowled brilliantly in this test series against India and Australia. On the basis of his bowling, India also won a match in this series. Bumrah had sent two big Australian batsmen to the pavilion in the first innings. Now due to injury he had to leave the field.

He bowled just one over before leaving the field, after which he was replaced by Abhimanyu Easwaran. India’s bowling strength has decreased with the departure of Bumrah.

India’s poor batting performance continues

Batting first, India scored only 185 runs in its first innings. Rishabh Pant scored the maximum 40 runs in this innings. Bumrah also contributed 22 runs. Scott Boland performed brilliantly for Australia and took four wickets. Mitchell Starc took three wickets and Pat Cummins took two wickets.
