Team India will be captained by Suryakumar Yadav, while the command of England is in the hands of Jos Buttler. It is being said about Eden Gardens that there will be dew on the field in the second innings, which may cause trouble to the bowlers.

Change in batting order possible
- Suryakumar Yadav told in the press conference held before the match that Sanju Samson’s place in the team is fixed. The captain also said that Tilak Verma will bat at number three.
- This decision of the Indian captain and team management is being discussed a lot, because usually Suryakumar Yadav bats at number three. Many fans are raising questions whether this change is necessary.
(Sanju Samson is close to breaking Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s record in terms of hitting most sixes for India in T20 cricket. Dhoni has hit 52 sixes, while Sanju has hit 46 sixes so far.)
There will be rain of runs, dew will increase the problems of the bowlers
The Eden Gardens pitch was ideal for batting in the Indian Premier League 2024 season. Last season, Punjab Kings had created history by achieving the target of 262 runs with 8 balls remaining against KKR.
It is expected that the game will be similar on the pitch and the conditions may become worse for the bowlers due to dew falling in the evening. It is cold all over India and it is expected to be difficult for the bowlers due to dew in the second innings of the match.
