A large number of devotees have come to Mahakumbh to take a dip of faith in Prayagraj. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is also going to participate in this Mahakumbh.

According to the information, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will participate in the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj to be organized on Saturday. The Defense Minister himself has given this information. In a social media post, he wrote that I will be in Prayagraj on January 18 to participate in Mahakumbh 2025. Mahakumbh is a celebration of India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage. Looking forward to attending this holy confluence.” Meanwhile, the Union Minister on Saturday appreciated the preparations and security measures taken for the Maha Kumbh.

Union Minister Rajnath Singh said, “Maha Kumbh is being organized with full preparation and security under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This should be a case study on the arrangements made by the government in the largest human gathering. We saw that in the first Kumbh, How was the event organized… If we talk about the earlier Kumbh, the way there was a stampede in 2013 and the insensitivity shown by the then government when the first Kumbh was organized after independence. When it took place, looking at the arrangements for the Kumbh, the then government was indifferent towards the arrangements for the Kumbh.”

Ayodhya Commissioner Gaurav Dayal on Friday announced that special arrangements are being made to manage the large number of devotees visiting Shri Ram Lalla Temple in Ayodhya after the Maha Kumbh celebrations. The official said that a huge crowd of devotees is expected after the Amrit Snan on Mauni Amavasya on January 29.

To strengthen the arrangements, Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar visited the Mahakumbh area on Thursday. During his visit he chaired a high-level review meeting at the ICC Auditorium. According to the State Information Department, till now more than 73 million devotees have taken the holy dip at Triveni Sangam. The next major Snan dates include 29 January (Mauni Amavasya – 2nd Shahi Snan), 3 February (Basant Panchami – 3rd Shahi Snan), 12 February (Maghi Purnima) and 26 February (Maha Shivratri).
