Dangerous turn of Gangahar track
The Gangahar track near Belda village in Bhopa police station area is known for a dangerous turn. There have been many accidents at this place earlier. Villagers have questioned many times on roadside security arrangements. He says that if there was a strong railing on the banks of the canal, such incidents can be avoided.
Questions on Nilgai and Road Safety
This is not the first time an accident occurred due to Nilgai’s arrival on the road. Nilgai’s arrival on the road in rural areas of western Uttar Pradesh has become a common problem. Due to these, many vehicles crash every year. Experts believe that the forest department needs to take immediate steps on this issue. It is very important for the Nilgai to ensure safe forest area and install roadside sign boards.
Local people demand
After the incident, the local people have made some important demands from the administration:
- Strong railing should be installed on the banks of Gangahar track.
- Effective measures should be taken to keep Nilgai and other wild animals away from the road.
- Warning boards should be installed on such dangerous turns.
- Road quality should be improved.
Villagers response
After this accident, the residents of Belda village called it a “miracle”. One villager said, “If there was no tree, this accident could have been very big. It was the grace of God that Sumit survived. “
Accidents have happened before
There have been many road accidents in the past also around Belda village and Gangahar tracks. Last year, a truck also fell into the ditch in which the driver died. The local administration did not take any concrete steps for security even after these incidents.
What does administration say on road safety?
Bhopa police station in -charge said that suggestions have been sent to the district administration to increase security on Gangahar tracks to prevent such incidents. He also informed that road accidents are increasing due to the increasing number of Nilgai. The administration will work closely with the forest department in this direction.
Opinion of experts
Road safety experts believe that better road design, special corridors for wild animals and local administration’s readiness are extremely important to prevent such accidents. Experts have suggested that drivers in such sensitive areas should drive carefully and follow the speed limit at night.
No conclusion, caution is important
This incident is only a warning that there is a need to be more vigilant about road safety. The tree may have saved a life in this accident near Belda village, but if security measures are not implemented, then such accidents can happen in future.
Note: This incident not only reflects the need to raise awareness about road safety, but also demands collective efforts of the administration and local people.
