Rescue officials said the fire was extinguished after hours of efforts, including more than ten firefighting vehicles and foam-based fire suppression. Initially, a total of five people were reported killed in this deadly blast. However, the death toll rose to six after rescue officials recovered another body from a house damaged by the blast. The report said that the dead included a minor girl and two women. Police said at least 20 houses around the blast site were completely reduced to debris, while 70 were partially damaged.
