The matter is likely to be listed before the apex court on Wednesday, January 15. Khedkar is accused of attempting to exceed the permissible limit in the UPSC exam by showing fake identity.
Former IAS trainee officer Pooja Khedkar moved the Supreme Court on Tuesday challenging the Delhi High Court order denying her bail in the UPSC fraud case. The matter is likely to be listed before the apex court on Wednesday January 15. Khedkar is accused of attempting to exceed the permissible limit in the UPSC exam by showing fake identity.
The development came after the Delhi High Court in December refused to grant anticipatory bail to former IAS trainee Pooja Khedkar, saying the steps taken by her were a part of a larger conspiracy to manipulate the system.
Pooja Khedkar was discharged from IAS in September
In September, the central government dismissed Khedkar from the IAS following allegations that he faked his identity to gain more attempts in the UPSC civil services examination. Khedkar was discharged after the investigation against him was completed. Khedkar was accused of misrepresenting information in his application for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, 2022, to avail reservation benefits.
