Apart from this, 16 others including a two month old baby were injured in this attack. He said the Ukrainian Air Force said Russia launched 99 drones toward Ukraine overnight. The air force said Kiev troops destroyed 65 drones while 30 disappeared from radar. He said drone attacks were reported in six regions of Ukraine. He said that apart from this, Russia’s Defense Ministry has confirmed that Moscow’s army has captured the village of Zapadne in the northeastern Kharkiv region of Ukraine. The village is on the west bank of the Oskil River, which long formed the front line between the Kremlin and Kiev forces. He said another report by Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko said that Russia has attacked Kiev’s energy facilities 1,200 times since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, including power generation facilities, Also included are attacks targeting distribution channels and gas facilities.

He said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also met with several other global leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The discussions focused on defense and security assistance to Kiev, increased sanctions against Russia, mediation in the return of 53 children forcibly taken from Ukraine by Russia, and the possibility of lasting peace. Additionally, Russia’s Interfax news agency reported that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has said Moscow sees only a small window of opportunity to reach a deal with the new administration under President Donald Trump, he said. Also, Russia’s deputy ambassador to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, responded to Trump’s threats by saying Moscow needs to see what Trump means by a “deal,” he said. Polyansky also said that although Trump is not responsible for America’s “malignant anti-Russia” policy, he now has the power to end it.

He said that Trump took the name of Russian President Putin in a social media post and said that he and Putin have always had good relations, but now the time has come to end this “senseless war”. He said Trump said he was considering taking some tough steps against Russia and wanted to ensure that no more people were killed in the war. He said that Trump has said that I love the Russian people and I have always had a very good relationship with President Putin. We should never forget that Russia helped us win World War II, costing nearly 60,000,000 lives in the process. He said Trump also warned that if a ceasefire agreement is not reached soon, he will have no other option but to impose duties, taxes and sanctions on any goods sold by Russia to the US and other partner countries. will be. He said Trump has been calling for a ceasefire in Ukraine for several months and urging both sides to talk.

He said that during his election campaign, Trump had repeatedly said that if he was elected president, he could resolve the war between Russia and Ukraine in a day. He said that however now Trump and his team feel that it may take up to six months to resolve this issue. He said that there is a possibility that Trump and Putin will meet soon in the coming days and this war will end.
