Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to the martyred soldiers at the National Summer Memorial

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to the National Summer Memorial on the occasion of 76th Republic Day and paid tribute to the martyrs on behalf of grateful nation. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth, Chief Defense President General Anil Chauhan and head of the three defense services were also present on the occasion.

The Prime Minister, wearing a dark brown closed neck coat and orange-yellow colored safa with white kurta-pajama, also signed a digital visitor book after paying tribute to the martyrs.

After this, the Prime Minister left for the duty path where he will attend the main function of Republic Day under the leadership of President Draupadi Murmu. India is celebrating the 76th Republic Day today. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the National Summer Memor on 25 February 2019 and dedicated it to the nation.

This monument is a symbol of the sacrifice made by our brave soldiers since independence. On the occasion of Republic Day in the year 2022, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to this memorial for the first time to praise the valor and valor of immortal sons.

Earlier, on the occasion of Republic Day, the Prime Minister of the country used to pay tribute to Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate. The National Summer Memorial is an eternal Jyoti who is an example of the supreme sacrifice done by a soldier performing his duty and makes him immortal.

The prestigious India Gate in Lutyens Delhi was built in 1931 by the then British Empire to remember India’s war (deadly) during the First World War and Third Anglo-Afghan War. Out of over 83,000 Indians who sacrificed their lives, 13,516 names are recorded in India Gate, which is inscribed on the entire monument.
