A major political uproar was created after the news of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar being made the chief advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Now once again there is a rumor of him being given Z+ security. This claim has been made by Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia. Majithia wrote on social media, I strongly condemn the Punjab government giving Z+ security to Arvind Kejriwal’s special and OSD Vibhav Kumar. Majithia said that in the name of ending VIP culture, the security of famous singer Sidhu Moosewala was withdrawn, after which this became the reason for his murder.
Majithia asked Bhagwant Mann what was the compulsion that Delhi resident Vibhav Kumar, who has also been jailed for abusing his daughters and sisters, was given Z+ security. Majithia said that Z+ security means that 60 to 70 policemen will be with them 24 hours and lakhs of rupees will be spent on it. Why should debt-ridden Punjab spend money on the security of a non-Punjabi? Majithia asked the question that if Bibhav Kumar needed security then why was Delhi Police given the responsibility of his security to Punjab Police?
Majithia said that Bhagwant Maan ji, the law and order situation in Punjab has gone from bad to worse, police stations are being attacked, grenade attacks are being made on people’s homes, but the police is working on the safety of Delhiites. Bhagwant Mann ji, Punjabis have elected you as Chief Minister, please work for the welfare of Punjab and Punjabis, leave your job in Delhi!
