In Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, a rod fell from a hoarding and entered the neck of an elderly man passing by, resulting in his death. An official gave this information on Sunday.

Nehru Khandate, in-charge of Civil Line police station, said that a contract employee of the local body was fixing the hoarding at Allahabad Bank Chowk on Saturday when a rod fell and entered the neck of passerby Kishan Kumar Rajak (64).
