At least four people were killed and nine others were injured in a Russian drone attack on a building in Northeast Ukraine. The officials gave this information on Thursday.
According to Sumi Regional Administration, a ‘Shahid’ drone blown the wall of Sumi city building and surrounding windows after one o’clock on Wednesday. The administration said that four people were taken out alive from the debris.
The injured also include a child. A total of 120 people were evacuated to safe places. Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonsky described the attack as “terrible tragedy, a terrible Russian crime”. The Russian-Ukraine war is about to complete three years next month and there are no signs of its end.
According to the United Nations, more than 10,000 Ukrainian citizens have been killed in this conflict so far. Russian attacks have also damaged Ukraine’s power grid. Ukraine’s Air Force reported that Russia fired more than 80 drones in the night. He said that most drones were either killed or inactive with ‘electronic jamming’.
Regional head Oleh Keeper wrote on ‘Telegram’ that a hospital and two residential buildings were damaged due to the Russian drone attack in the southern Odessa region of Ukraine. There were no casualties in this attack.
