On the eve of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, a grand memorial ceremony was organized at Vanvasi Gurukul-Doon Sanskriti Vidyalaya, Jhajhra, in which the main sermons were given by Swami Ramrupanand and Swami Swaroopanand of Ramakrishna Mission, presided over by famous entrepreneur and social worker Ajay Kumar Verma. Operating Director Mr. Ritwik Vijay did it.

Ajay Verma, associated with Hans Foundation, described the work of the school as a true tribute to Swami Vivekananda. It is noteworthy that in this Vanvasi Gurukul school, tribal children from Burma border to Nepal border are getting free education.
