Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and JMM chief Shibu Soren turned 81 on Saturday. His family members and party workers celebrated his birthday here. On this occasion, a cake was cut at his residence in the presence of his son and Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
Hemant Soren’s MLA wife Kalpana Soren, Health Minister Irfan Ansari and many other leaders were present in the program. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren was born in Ramgarh in 1944.
Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, who rejoined the BJP on Friday, met the JMM chief at his residence and wished him on his birthday.
Das posted on ‘X’, “Today I met Dishom Guru and former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Shibu Soren ji and wished him happy birthday. Also took blessings from aunty Soren ji (Shibu’s wife). I pray to Baba Baidyanath for the long and healthy life of both of them. May this couple remain unbroken like Shiva and Parvati.” Meanwhile, BJP workers celebrated the 66th birthday of party state unit president Babulal Marandi at his residence.
