He said that this journey would further strengthen the India-Indonesia broader strategic partnership. During the visit of Subiayanto, several compromises are expected by both sides to increase cooperation in many areas. He will be the fourth Indonesian President to attend India’s Republic Day celebrations. Indonesia’s first President Sukarno was the chief guest at India’s first Republic Day celebrations in 1950.
450 million dollars agreement

India is close to finalizing the US $ 450 million deal to supply the BrahMos missile system to Indonesia. To facilitate the agreement, India is considering lending to Indonesia through State Bank of India or any other National Bank.
