Trump appointed former Indian-American journalist as Deputy Press Secretary of ‘White House’

US President Donald Trump has appointed former Indian-American journalist Kush Desai as his Deputy Press Secretary. The announcement was made by the ‘White House’ (the official office and residence of the President of the US).

Desai has previously worked as the Director of Deputy Communications for ‘Republican National Convention-2024’ and Communications Director of the Republican Party of Iowa. He has also been the Director of Deputy Communications (Pennsylvania) in the ‘Republican National Committee’.

The White House on Friday reported the nomination of Desai. The ‘White House Office of Communications’ will be maintained by ‘Deputy White House Chief of Staff’ and ‘Cabinet Secretary’ Taylor Budovich.

Trump had earlier announced the appointment of Steven Chewn as Assistant and White House Director of the President and Caroline Lewet as Assistant to President and Press Secretary.
