The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has organized the Under-23 State ODI Tournament in the form of domestic cricket. Its matches are being played in different cities of the country. Currently Gujarat team is at the top with 28 points.

Naiduniya, Raipur (U-23 State A Trophy). Chhattisgarh defeated Bihar by 183 runs in the Men’s Under-23 State ODI Trophy organized by BCCI. With this victory the team has made it to the playoffs.
The sixth match of Chhattisgarh team was played against Bihar team in Trivandrum. Chhattisgarh won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, they scored a huge score of 358 runs after losing seven wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
Vikalp Tiwari scored the highest 71 runs from Chhattisgarh. Whereas, Deepak Yadav contributed 61 runs. Vikalp made a useful partnership of 70-70 runs with Rahul Pradhan and Harsh Sahu. Apart from him, Ayush Pandey played a useful inning of 60 runs. Prithviraj, Suman and Ankush took 2 wickets each from Bihar.
Varun took four wickets
Bihar, chasing the target of 359 runs, scored only 175 runs after losing all the wickets in 44.4 overs. Ayush Loharuka scored the highest 87 runs from Bihar.
Apart from them, Akash scored 22 runs and Pawan scored 21 runs. From Chhattisgarh, Varun Singh Bhui took four wickets and Vikalp Tiwari took two wickets.
UP had created history just a day before
Earlier, in the U-23 State A Trophy one-day match, Uttar Pradesh team created history. Uttar Pradesh set the record for chasing the highest score in any Indian domestic ODI by achieving the target of 407 runs against Vidarbha. This match was played at the GSFC Cricket Ground in Vadodara, where UP won by eight wickets.
UP achieved the target in only 41.2 overs. The hero of the match was Sameer Rizvi, who scored his second double century (202 not out) in a span of a few days. This was his fourth century in six matches.
