Police have arrested the killing of two people during the violence in November last year in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. A police officer gave this information on Saturday.
Sambhal Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shrish Chandra said that an accused heir has been arrested on Saturday. He said that during the violence, the police team was also firing on the police team during the violence.
The ASP said that 72 accused have been arrested so far in the violent incident in the Shahi Jama Masjid area in Sambhal police station area. He said that a desi tamancha 315 bore, two cartridges 315 bore, one khok cartridge 315 bore and a khok cartridge were trapped in Nal from the accused heirs.
Chandra said that after completing the legal process, the accused has been sent to jail. The ASP said that heir is accused of killing two people Mohammad Kaif and Naeem. Quoting the inquiry, he said that the accused heir is a member of the infamous Sarik Sata gang.
He joined the violence only after the Sarik Sata gang members instigated. He claimed that he was provided weapons used in violence by the Sata gang. Its other colleagues are being searched.
A statement issued by the police said that the members of the gang were asked to protect the mosque, saying that the advocates from outside were asked to kill the mosque.
On the order of the court last year in Sambhal, tension started during the survey of the royal mosque and four people were killed and many were injured in the violence erupted during the re -survey on 24 November.
