Shocking report about iPhone users in India: A large section of iPhone and Android users in the country have said that they have faced call connection issues after the latest software upgrade. Online platform Local Circles has said this in its latest report. According to the survey, 60 percent of iPhone users and 40 percent of Android users in the country have said that they are facing problems in their services after the latest software upgrade.
Call failure is the biggest problem that iPhone users are facing, whether it is a normal call or an app-based call. Whereas, freezing of apps is the biggest problem for Android users.
The report said that 6 out of 10 Apple iPhone users surveyed who have upgraded to iOS 18 or higher are facing difficulties. Of these, 28 percent respondents said most/some voice and OTT calls do not connect or get dropped. At the same time, 12 percent said that the phone screen becomes dark; 12 percent said that the apps hang.”

The survey, conducted between November 12 and December 26 last year, claims to have received over 47,000 responses (31,000 from users of Apple iPhone devices and around 16,000 from users of Android devices) from 322 districts in India.
The survey found that almost 9 out of 10 Apple iPhone users facing problems after upgrading to iOS 18 blame iOS as the reason. No one held their WiFi or mobile network responsible for their problems. Apple is releasing updates for its latest operating system iOS 18.
In October, the company released iOS 18.0.1 update to fix the problem of screen and camera freezing in select models of iPhone 16. There was no response to emails sent to Apple and Google regarding the survey report. input language
