Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, the former Prime Minister’s son and MP Neeraj Shekhar said that I am personally unhappy with the statements given by some senior leaders, every person of the country is saddened by me. Taking a dig at the President’s address as boring, Neeraj Shekhar said that Kharge ji is sitting among us. There are very senior leaders, I want him to explain to his leader that the President’s address is not for entertainment. This is a very serious thing. The dispute began when Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge mentioned the government’s way of dealing with various issues, referring to the rate of inflation under the Narendra Modi government after the dollar crossed Rs 87.

Kharge’s anger on Shekhar has gone viral on social media, to which BJP members have reacted sharply. Shekhar is not visible in the video, but the chairman can be heard asking him to sit while calling his name. In addition, Kharge alleged that thousands of people lost their lives during the stampede and the government should declare the actual number of dead. He mentioned the death of tribute to thousands, but when Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar asked him to withdraw the statement, the Congress chief immediately clarified.
