Kaushambi: Murder convict gets life imprisonment

A court in Kaushambi district on Friday convicted a man accused of murder and sentenced him to rigorous life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000. Additional District Government Advocate Sanjay Kumar Mishra said that on December 24, 2005, Ram Kumar Yadav’s son Ram Sumer Yadav was shot dead in Saini area of ​​the district.

In this case, a case of murder was registered against Tej Singh, son of Ram Singh, the principal of a higher secondary school. He told that Ram Singh had a dispute with his son Tej Singh.

Sumer Yadav was a class IV employee in Ram Singh’s Inter College. Whenever Singh used to go anywhere, he used to take Yadav along with him. Tej Singh was irritated with him for this matter and in this enmity he shot Yadav dead and threw the body in a pit on the banks of the canal outside the village.

Mishra said that after hearing both the sides, the Additional District Court – VII on Friday convicted Tej Singh and sentenced him to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000.
